Angela Noah


Co-Leader, Native/Indigenous Affinity Group

Angela (White Mountain Apache/Oklahoma Choctaw) attends the University of Oregon as a First Generation Sophomore majoring in Public Policy, Urban Planning and Non-Profit Management. Angela serves as a cultural ambassador, the 2020-2021 Miss Indian University of Oregon, amplifying Native students’ voices within higher education. She is the oldest of seven siblings, a former chainsaw crewmember, and loves the movie Selena. Angela also works with the oldest Native youth organization in the U.S. recognized as a 25 Under 25 Recipient where she is currently building curriculum for Native youth impacted by the juvenile justice court system. Angela’s passion consists of Native womxn empowerment, mental health advocacy for tribal communities, decolonization of land relations and healthy Indigenous representation in all spaces.
